Deposit and Payments

About the balance in my wallet.

The balance in the wallet is used to pay your ride cost or act as deposit if required by your usage of PMDs (e.g. scooters or bicycles).

The balance has no expiration date, it is refundable, but non-transferable.

What is the current pricing model?

How do I top-up my wallet to pay for trips?

  1. Click on the “Wallet” tab at the Homepage.
  2. In the “Wallet” page, click on the “Top Up” button and follow the steps after that.
  3. Enter the amount that you want to top up then click on the “Confirm” button. Please do take note that you need to top up a minimum amount of $20 for each top-up (or more depending on whether a deposit is required).
  4. Follow the steps after that and the app will update you when your transaction is done.

How do I top-up my wallet to pay for deposit?

  1. You might be prompted to top up deposit if you chose a route involving a mobility device that requires one. Otherwise, Click on the “Wallet” tab at the Homepage. In the “Wallet” page, click on the “Top Up” button and follow the steps after that.
  2. Enter the amount that you want to top up then click on the “Confirm” button. Please do take note that you need to top up a minimum amount of $20 (or more depending on whether a deposit is required).
  3. The app will update you when your transaction is done.

What if i tried to book a trip when my trip balance is $0?

You will be prompted that you do not have enough balance in your wallet to book the trip and will be immediately directed to the top up amount page:

  1. Enter the amount that you want to top up then click on the “Confirm” button. Please do take note that you need to top up a minimum amount of $20 for each top-up (or more depending on whether a deposit is required).
  2. The app will update you when your transaction is done.
  3. Once the transaction is completed, click on the “Back” button and you will be led back to the trip confirmation page.

How do I do a refund for my balance?

  1. Click on the “Wallet” tab at the Homepage.
  2. In the “Wallet” page, click on the “Refund My Balance” button and follow the steps after that.
  3. The app will update you with your refund receipt and reference number when your refund request is submitted successfully.

Please do take note that it will take about 10 working days to receive your refund and a transaction fee of $1 will be collected.

If you did not get your deposit back after 10 working days, please send us an email at sayhello@jalan.sg, or log a report within the app and we will check and solve it as soon as possible.
