What gets deleted Deleting your account permanently removes:
your account record, email address, and display name; your stored password hash and any linked sign-in methods or passkeys; your synchronised supported bus-service favourites; your synchronised app preferences; and all active sessions and refresh tokens, signing you out everywhere. What is kept, and for how long A limited amount of information may remain after deletion where we are required or permitted to keep it:
Apple sign-in — we may temporarily keep the information needed to disconnect Jalan from your Apple account. We delete it when disconnection succeeds, or normally within 30 days after account deletion.Operational logs and telemetry — retained for a limited period for security, fraud prevention, and reliability. These are not used to rebuild your account.De-identified usage analytics — retained analytics records may remain for up to 365 days, but deletion removes their link to your Jalan account. Duplicate-delivery batch records are normally removed within seven days.Support correspondence — kept for as long as needed to resolve disputes and maintain appropriate records.Records required by law — retained only where a legal obligation applies.Data stored only on your device — such as cached bus stops and local favourites — is not held by us. Clear the app's storage or uninstall Jalan to remove it.
If you used Sign in with Apple, we request removal of the Apple connection when we have the required authorization. For older accounts without it, remove Jalan under Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings . For Google, remove Jalan from your Google Account connections after deleting through this page. These steps do not delete your Apple or Google account.
